Pilgrim tourism is one of the most significant parts of tourism, whose main goal is to visit and see sight places connected with cult of saints and blessed ones. A special place in visiting saint places is taken by sanctuaries of Our Lady and there are several dozen such sanctuaries in Poland. On the Piasts track and in a close distance there are a few places visited by pilgrims-tourists. Starting a walk-pilgrimage at Gniezno – the track center, Sanctuary of Saint Adalbert, after about 70 km we reach the Licheń Our Lady Sanctuary and next we go to Kazimierz Biskupi, where, in late-gothic church of Saint John the Baptist and Five Martyrs, at its south wall we pray in front of boxes including relics of Five Martyrs.

Close to Gniezno, next to Imiołki village, on Lednica fields the Dominicans placed the Gate of Third Millennium in shape of steel fish. Since 1997, between May and June, annually there have been organized many-thousand religious assemblies of youths from many countries of Europe. In the area of Kiszkowo Commune, on a bumpy area, in a local church in Dąbrówka Kościelna there is a picture of Our Lady famous of miracles, it has been the target of pilgrimages since XVIIth century.

In a half way, between Strzeln and Inowrocław in Markowice we can visit Our Lady Sanctuary called "Kujawy Częstochowa".

Close to Września in Biechewo, in church of the Virgin's Birth, which is cared by the Pauline Fathers, there is a picture of Our Lady of Consolation - object of cult and target of pilgrims since 1695.

Pilgrimages, travels to places considered to be saint ones, places of cult, connected with the saints, relics, faith. The guardian of pilgrims is apostle, Saint Jacob the Older, fisherman from area of Genazaret lake, who was brought by a star to Iberian Panisula to Santiago di Compostela, where the king Alfons the XIth funded for the Saint a mausoleum. Today, this place is a target of pilgrims.
